journaling reads: I’d rather not fly but will if I must to get to where I want to go. Put me in a cruise ship and I’m in heaven. I love seeing the history behind 2000 years of mankind, the people and a culture somewhat foreign to us. I love the smells of a food I’ve never had before even though I may not love the taste. I love the sound of foreign tongues even though I often don’t have a clue as to what’s being said. I love the smell of the oceans and being gently rocked to sleep at night and seeing the moon reflected on a calm sea. I even loved getting stuck in Hurricane Tomas in the Caribbean and having waves spray onto our balcony on the 12th deck. Perhaps in a previous life I was a sailor and visited Port of Call across the world? Perhaps it just reminds me of my childhood spending each and every weekend on the Atlantic off Key Largo. Perhaps there’sno reason necessary just the pure joy of doing it.
