I had the great pleasure of scraplifting Dorci this month, so I selected her page A Note of Affection
I had been thinking it's been a while since I used a mask with a photo clipped to it, so that drew me in to this page. And I loved the branch framing off to one side, though I had to go the other direction since our female characters were looking different directions. Recently, I've been downloading paintings that come up on my feed in Facebook, so the photo clipped to the mask is of a watercolor painting of a bouquet of tulips in a vase. The mask is very floral-y and I thought that looked really pretty together, and became the basis of the other colors to use. Thanks for the inspiration, Dorci!

Wow Becky, this is breathtaking and what an amazing lift! Your shadow work is amazing, and the blend.. wow. Your cluster of elements is perfection from color to the background, the faint etching and the pops of red/green from the flowers and foliage. Wow! Thank you for playing along with the February Scraplift Challenge!
@cfile I love scraplifting! My tag line back in the day was, "I scraplift, therefore I am" LOL I love being inspired by what I love in others artwork. Thank you so much for the Froggy Fav and your exuberantly kind words!
