I didn’t start with that dark paper but once I tried it was totally sold. I am regularly surprised by what can happen with a different background and only rarely stay with my first choice. This is part of what I love about digital scrapbooking.
It was a delightful location. We sat on one of the benches under the trees while waiting for better silhouette lighting. I took the right photo (that’s my husband) from the bench while I was “testing” the process. I’ve not had much success with silhouettes before. Like much of photography it requires the correct light, timing and patience.
