Photos are of my Grandfather's Cousin Gracie sitting in the living room of my Great Gandfather's house... I am guessing the date as being 1916. 2 Different angles were taken.. one head on showing her thinking about what to write and the other dreaming about it looking out the window.. I thought it was the perfect photos for Lynn's bundle... the deckled frames I made from shapes with an action from Leah of Mommyish designs.
priceless photos and that brad/flair could almost be made from one of them, it's that close to a match! the plum rosey colour is awesome with the sepia too, the pops of yellow give this a cool fresh, vintage feel (which sounds like an impossible combo but obviously not! WTG!)
@bellbird thank you Justine! When I found the pictures in my Dad's photo album I was in awe that this was 2 seperate angles.. I love the side view of cousin Gracie, but this was the best I could do with the front view.. Funny you should mention that brad.. I thought the same thing.. That was why I picked those photos I thought it was a perfect match. Thank you my friend for your sweet comment.. means the world to me! Hugs!
@bellbird thanks Justine.. I have always loved deckeled edge photo frames.. that action of Leah's is perfect. I rebought it yesterday as I couldn't find it in my stash anymore It works for any shape you make in PS.. it really is fun
Fabulous vintage photos and story and a beautiful layout. Great job with the frames. Now I have to go look in Leah's story for that action and put it on my wishlist! @cfile - could you tell me the styling number of this action please?
