My Dear Louisa,
My uncle tells me you are stuck for inspiration for your next novel and I think I’ve got what you are seeking. With this letter is a photo of the four sisters who live next door. Meg is seated on the left. She’s the oldest and runs the household when their mother is away for extended periods of time. Standing next to her is Amy, the youngest and very artistic, although I think she is selfish and materialistic. Jo, standing next to Amy, is quite strong willed and somewhat of a tomboy. Dear sweet Beth is seated on the right side. She’s quite musical but I fear she’s not well and may be the first sister to pass.
Let me know if you think these little women would be a good subject for a book and I’ll arrange an introduction.
