Beautiful! It does have the spirit of Christmas too! I like the idea of a Christmas later when it is safe. My mother has expectations of seeing us, and my hubby is high risk and so is my sister. She is still visiting people as it is ‘too hard’ to just stay home by herself. I get it... but I asked for her to self quarantine for the two weeks before Christmas and she said no as she already has plans. So frustrating.
@Sokee It's so hard. I wish our government would ban mixing at Christmas. It's left to us to confront family members when we don't feel comfortable mixing. I feel your frustration. We have one son & daughter who won't come near us as they don't want to potentially infect us, and the other son doesn't think there's anything to worry about and is upset cos we've 'banned Christmas'. Thank you for commenting and wishing you a safe Christmas
Lovely layout Karen. So sorry you have family who don't 'play well' with the wise advice. (Ditto to your Mom @Sokee) Fortunately, at our age and health status, we can just say No and put our health before others' feelings. Thank God it's only my daughter who would show up if she had a car...
Pretty little tree and layout. Low key is the way to go in 2020 I think. We too have been "banned" by our daughter and granddaughter who fear for us probably more than themselves because of our age. We are super cautious ourselves but I understand their concern. The two of us will have a quiet day at home with some good food, good books, a new puzzle and it may even be a pj day here sitting by the fireplace.
