journaling reads: Our life it just one long trip after another. When we first got married we were young and ready for adventure, so we took jobs in a field that required us to travel overseas. Since 2004, we have taken consecutive 3 year long ‘trips’ to various South East Asian countries. We ‘live’ in that country for the duration of that assignment, then we return to the USA for a time before heading out again. In our travels we have become new, different people. We are no longer fully ‘at home’ in the US. When there we long to leave the confines of our ‘home culture’ and be free. But when we are abroad, we find ourselves homesick for the world we grew up in,from time to time. We don’t really belong anywhere anymore.

ohhh Erin..... see? this is why I love the Dares so much .... it has shown me so much of my own self, but also I get to know people more....and this couldn't be nearer to my heart...as I have lived most of my adult life like a gypsy.. funniest thing was that, since I started seeing your pages here, I was curious about you because you didn't "sound" Asian, but most your pages were telling me you might be? not sure if I can explain myself properly on this one.... my heart is with yours... I know the twilight feeling of not belonging anymore...for many, many years my idea was to go back to Brazil, it took a lot until I could feel London/England as my home... you are still young and I would go further, and tell you you belong with each other...so home will always be in your heart... but I know how strange the feeling is....LOVE the page....visually has so much beauty and contrast, love the big stamps, everything here is emotionally charged and it gives the message so well....Thanks SO much for playing with us!!!!!!!!! and thanks so much for writing the journaling ...the page turns 100000 times much more when we know what is going on with your story Hugggzzz
