It's been a real struggle trying to get Dagmar to eat any kind of vegetable or fruit. She'll eat potatoes and recently she's been willing to try new things, but she never likes any of them! I got her to try lettuce, and it was our first success! She even claims to 'love&' it, and puts it on her food on purpose, although in smaller amounts than I'd like. Baby steps. Baby steps.
