For MOC Journaling Challenge: My Letter is C
As a Fur-momma I LOVE my baby a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel I rescued from the local shelter! She is my baby, my light. She means the world to me. About a year ago after having quite a few medical problems including ear infections and slipping a disk in her back x2 she lost her eye sight in her right eye to Canine Glaucoma. I was a mess. A complete mess! She was a trooper and went on like normal. A few weeks ago I woke up to find that she had suddenly over night lost the sight in her remaining eye. I was heartbroken and this she has not bounced back from near as quickly. She really struggled with getting around the house and keeping up with us. She wants to be with us/me all the time and anytime I move she tries to follow which ends up with her hitting her nose or her head on a wall or door jam or piece of furniture. She has figured out how to get out and in the doggy door and is getting much better now at navigating the house but she still gets lost easy and doesn't like the leave the house. No matter what she has been so brave, so Courageous!!
