Our fave family game! Everyone back East (I'm from Ontario) plays euchre. When I moved out west and met my husband, I taught him and we play with friends sometimes. My family taught me when I was about 8. It was my mom's fave game and that's why I had a dog yrs ago named Euker (changed the spelling but everyone knew it was a tribute to my mom). Oh man! I haven't played euchre forever! Like @bcgal00 I learned it from my Ontario grandma. I need to teach my family how to play! Love that you included the little bit about them not understanding the subtleness of the game yet. The world paper is a really cool background!
