Looks like a delicious meal Christa! I like how your journaling tells how your grandma made it then and how you make it now. I love the scatters and arrow paint and the fun stitched leaf border!
@umyesh Thanks Monica.. It is really delicious and so easy to make.. each shank is in it's own foil pack and you just put the stuff all together, close off the parcel and in 2 hours, voila.. it is dinner time, with easy clean up This was a favorite of my brother & I when we were kids and would stay at Grandma's for the week/weekend or a few weeks/month during the summer. We lived about 30 minutes from them, but we loved staying there We even had friends there too Grandma would make the shanks and we would be thrilled as it fell right off the bone. My Mom never made it.. she only made leg of lamb or lamb chops LOL.. she (Mom) also never owned a pressure cooker, and they make me nervous. Yup sweet memories! Thanks again for your sweet comment!
@cfile easy clean up is the best! I used to be afraid of pressure cookers too but I’m a bit more comfortable with our instant pot thankfully. That’s fun you and your brother would stay with your Grandma! Great memories.
Yummy! Love all the paints and how you embellished some of them with beads. That sewn down leaf border gives your page some great texture too. Thanks for sharing
