Jim and I spent Easter weekend in State College, PA with Emma and Joe. On Good Friday we took advantage of the sunny weather (after lots of rain) to take a 2.6 mile hike around Lake Colyer. We thought it was an odd coincidence that so many of these place signs on the pole below were for towns in western South Dakota near where Joe’s Mom and step-Dad currently live. I was happily tired after this hike.
After our hike we went to Good Friday services at Emma & Joe’s church. It was a wonderful service which really brought home what Good Friday really means. Then, we finished our day with a delicious later Birthday dinner for me at Gigi’s Southern Kitchen.
