Journaling " I WAS SO EXCITED TO GO TO THE ACTUAL KINGS CROSS IN LONDON WHERE THE HARRY POTTER MOVIES TAKE PLACE. AFTER LANDING AT HEATHROW and driving to our hotel and checking in, we went to the underground, bought our oyster cards and took the tube to kings cross to meet up with Cynthia at a restaurant across from kings cross. after a wonderful meeting in person, and lunch, we gave each other big hugs and CJ and I were off to platform 9 3/4 . it was really awesome to see in person what i have read about and have seen in the movies. it is huge! there are 2 sets of these semi circles and it is spectacular to see. the track 9 3/4 is a store at the end of the tunnel. they have a “trolley” that is half way through a wall and you can get your photo taken holding a wand and wearing the scarf of your hogwarts house. it was really fun to do that and then look around in the store at all the movie items. prior to this the “kings Cross” i went to was the replica at harry potter world at Universal Orlando."
