Kindergarten

In January 2020, my son held his little sister's hand as we walked into the elementary school to register her for kindergarten. He was in 5th grade and in his final year in the school. Of course, the world went into lockdown 2 months later. Neither of my kids started their new schools normally in the fall. In November, they finally returned to in person learning. As I dropped her off in carpool, I snapped a quick photo of my daughter walking into the building alone for that first day.
