Kind Heart

One of the things that I absolutely love about you, is your attention to those around you. You pick up on others being down or feeling sad, and you’ll gladly share a hug or a high five. You are concerned when I’m concerned, laugh when I act silly, and always ask me how my day has been when I’m asking about yours. You love to share stories, and often try to pull as fast one. You’re growing into yourself, and are certain about the way you want things to go.I loved watching you grow while playing basketball this year – both mentally and physically. Starting out you were happy go lucky, with some skills, but mostly just playing to have fun. You just finished playing Friday night with your buddies from school, and you took the last two games to a whole new level. You played with a new maturity, as if you’d grown a whole year in the last week. You were reading the plays and making decision like we’ve never seen before. You were playing like a big girl; like someone knowing the game. You were a “rebounding-machine”, passing like a champ and kicking butt. Even though your team won, you were all into your medal. Don’t get me wrong, you love winning; but after the game, you made sure to first find and congratulate your friends playing for the other team on a game well played. Putting others before yourself is something you demonstrate on a daily basis. And that is something that warms this mother’s heart! Your facial expressions are priceless, and your dance moves hilarious. You are you, all the way through! And we wouldn’t want it any other way. You are beyond amazing my Bianca Rose. You are something else.
