Kai is One!

Kai Raven,
You are almost one, where has time gone? One. Five hundred twenty-five thousand
Six hundred minutes... of precious moments with you. The world is a better place because you are in it. Your smile lights up a room. Your voice is a beautiful song. Your laughter could make the hardest of hearts smile.
It's hard to think of what to write. But I should say something about this year. It's been amazing to be in your life this year. Your personality has grown by leaps and bounds. You are intelligent and fun to be around even in your grouchy moments. Your growth and advancement this year has been a joy to witness, to be a part of in my own way. And at the same time, I've been growing so much this year as well.
While you've been growing physically and expanding your vocabulary and growing into the amazing little man that you are, I've been growing as a Mother as well. I am always so proud of you, my heart bursts with pride when I tell someone about your personality, your bright smile, or anything about you. You are a joy in my life.
This year has brought me to a place where I feel that I am able to better devote my time to you when we are together. I will forever remember the day you were born, one of the happiest of my life. I will cherish those memories of the first moments of your life. I still can picture your tiny eyes staring into mine as I got my first glance at the beautiful creation that is you. It was love at first site.
you changed my life forever. In more ways than just simply arriving. You changed my priorities. You changed my heart. You changed my soul.
I thank you for being who you are, in every way, shape and form. I thank you for coming into my life. I thank you for being the best little Kman around.
