this is so so beautiful Patsy!!!!! your journaling is so heartfelt and the photo is a treasure....the photo corners are a touch of your elegance, beautiful title and a soft feeling about the page.... I do know we "should" be prepared for our parents to go before us.... I even though that for me being so far away it would be a bit easier...but when my dad went, there is no one day in which I'm about to reach for the phone to do a Face Time call to ask him about one thing or another, needing to remind myself I no longer can..... Love this gorgeous tribute and I am sure he watches and loves it!!!!!!

@MrsPeel - thank you dear one for your kind words. Yes, I think we do expect our parents to go before us but losing them is still hard. But we are not expecting our children to go before us and that is even harder I think. I know that feeling of wanting to pick up the phone to call and then remembering they are gone -- especially recently. Ambushed by grief each and every time. Hugs ...
