What a delightful 2-pager. Dang those allergies anyway. I used to suffer from hayfever so badly when I lived in Iowa but I don’t have that out here in Washington. I do miss the cornfields. That is so cool that Sydney read to you along the way.
@Iowan That's not allergies per se... she has mast cell activation disorder which causes her body to react to anything... touch, water... good days she's good and bad days she is a hot rashy miserable flush-faced girl. She takes 4 meds per day for this - you'd think she couldn't get any allergies since they block her histamine etc. Crazy stuff! I'm glad you don't have your allergies there... I do love the cornfields! The drive to Toledo is a tour of the heartland! Funny how all the scenery changes and the farming styles change... from the shape of the bales of hay to the storage bins to the row styles... lol
After I read the second page of the layout, I understood it was much more severe than common allergies. What a horrible disease (I just read up on it). I’m sorry that Sydney has to deal with the disease. That has to be especially hard for a teen.
