Survivors have a prism - FAITH - that allows them to see through the pain and hardship to the hope & purpose & beauty in their lives. It does not magically change our circumstances and make everything happy, Faith bends the light to show us what’s really there. It bends the light of our current circumstances in such a way that we can see God’s presence in the moment, despite the outcome. Faith is the prism we need to see hope when all seems lost, to survive the furnace of suffering, to grow despite the pain. ~W. Lee Warren M.D.~
I've often been struck by how positive my journal writing can be - in spite of my life burning down around my ears. These words helped me to reconcile the apparent disparity. I'm a survivor - always looking through that prism of faith, hope & positivity!

What a wonderfully uplifting message in this difficult time. And you have created a lovely layout for your journaling. Thanks for sharing that encouragement with us.
