We're heading to Trevélez, a picturesque village in the Alpujarras region of Andalusia, located in the southern part of the Sierra Nevada National Park. This picturesque mountain village is known for its stunning scenery, charming whitewashed houses, and delicious Serrano ham.
Trevélez lies at an altitude of 1,476 meters above sea level and, like many mountain villages, is built on a steep slope with an elevation difference of almost 200 meters between the highest and lowest points. It has the charming village center of a traditional Andalusian mountain village, with narrow, winding streets and whitewashed facades adorned with colorful flowerpots.
