My sweet husband likes to give me
perfume for my Birthday or Christmas.
In November 2025, we were having a little
holiday at Boondooma Dam when we drove
to the nearby town of Proston. The first shop
we walked into was a Chemist and they sold
quite an array of perfumes for a small town
shop. Ken asked me to find one I liked which
I did. I think this Velvet Girl is kind of cute
with the little shoe hanging on it. The scent
is to my liking. I would not buy perfume
just for the look of the bottle.
Beautiful page Anne-Marie! Love your story of Ken buying you the perfume with that cute little shoe, and I am glad you like the fragrance too! (I find I have to be real careful now as a lot of perfumes bother my breathing. There are only certain ones I can wear and had to giveaway my stash.) I love that you took a photo today of it for the mirror reflection challenge. That shoe dangling there is really neat. I agree.. I wouldn't buy just for the bottle either, but it looks like you got a "win-win"!! Love the red papers and great use of word strips! TFS!
What a great story! That bottle is super cute too, with the shoe and that topper! I love the mirror capture, great angle and fun documenting. Thanks for playing along in the MOC 13 Day 7 Challenge.
