I've been digi-scrapping since 2009. Been around the digital block as I like to call it and have graced many sites scrapping alongside so many. I've watched children grow up online thru the layouts in the galleries and have chatted in forums, live events, private messages and have even extended some of those friendships to social media and phone. I remember when crops and get-togethers were all the rage and many of the sites I was active at were hosting and attending a plethora of them. I always wanted to be able to attend and at the time I never could. Over the years, so many sites have closed, some familiar faces have vanished or taken leave from this hobby, and I thought maybe I'd never get to meet any of these digi-friends in person. But as chance would have it amid masks mandates I received a message that Dalis was nearby. She was in a neighboring town for her daughter's hockey tournament and only had a short window for a quick parking lot meet & greet....I'll take it! Lots of delight. Some hugging exchanged and chatting that could have went on much longer we took one selfie to document - it happened - for the scrapbook. And that's how I finally met Dalis one September in 2021.
