Oh Kiana.. the photo of your great blue heron is gorgeous and i really love how you scrapped it here. When my Dad was alive he had one that frequented the house.. we would go out on the dock and fish in the canal for it.. we named ours Wendell and he was always thrilled to get a fish from us!! Beautiful interpretation of the instructions building a beautiful vertical flowing composition . Love the floral accents and sequins.. beautifully color coordinated with the photo!! Well done!
@LoveItScrapIt My Mom was past president of the local Audubon chapter up in NY and was friends with a lot of the Bird Artists... Arthur Singer who illustrated "the Birds of No. America" as well as the US Postal Stamps with his son of Birds and Flowers back in the 1980's was my Mom's best friend. The MOC for Jan 2022 I made a page with Arthur making a water color of the Great Blue Heron at my Dad's dock.. I have the signed original here now in my home as my parents are gone now, but our Wendel was so much a part of us that I associate that bird as a "sign" from Dad, and my nephew even got a tattoo of the GBH on his forearm
Here is the page..Hugs!
@LoveItScrapIt I ADORE your beautiful page! What a lovely bird and your element/paper choices set it off so wonderfully! That scalloped edge paper piece is perfect with your round photo. Thanks so much for playing along with my Blind Scrap Challenge for MOC 12!
