JOURNALING: Many years ago (in the last century, as I like to say), my husband and I went to an auction in support of the local PBS television station. We loved these yearly events and even volunteered to help out with the live production – but I digress. At this particular auction, Jim bid on and won a – how do I say this to not offend the sensibilities – “boudoir” photo shoot. I’d never done anything like this before (or since) but I have to admit it was fun. This picture of me is when I realized I have no idea where those photos are today, my husband has passed away, and his kids are helping me clear out the house!!!

What an awesome story to share with this design. Adding your face to this prim and proper sketched girl is a stroke of genius. I'm smiling and chuckling but not laughing out loud which I think is exactly the reaction you would love. There isn't anything that could make this a better layout. I do hope that you leave this layout for them (or your kids if they exist) find some day. They deserve to see the two of you in a new light.
Oh my goodness - I am totally giggling over here. Glad you were able to find inspiration to include your own selfie on your page. I love the contrast of the sweet girl with the shocked expression of being found out . . . I think you'll likely find that they will appreciate finding out about this story - I know I would!
