MOC 8 - January 26
Journaling Reads:
So this is me. 41. Still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Actually, still deciding whether or not to grow up at all. My greatest achievements and gifts thus far, without a doubt, are my children and my career. I love my kids, they are incredible people. They bring unmeasureable amounts of joy (and craziness) to my life. I love my job. I knew I would. Teaching is like raising small children all over again, but you get to send them home at the end of the day and still sleep at night. I love each one of my students as though they are my own. Some days, not so much. haha I love sushi dates with my kids. Dinner dates with my friends. I love my animals - Molly, Murphy, and Butterscotch. They’re hairy and annoying at times, but they are unconditional love.
I love classical crossover music. To hear someone play music like that, gives me goose bumps. Inspiring. I love to crochet winter hats and blankets that take forever to finish. I have missed scrapbooking, so very much. I don’t travel as much as I wish I could. I am still learning about myself and what makes me, me. I finally shaved half of my hair off, although no one would ever know. Makes my life so much lighter. I’m working on a healthier lifestyle, in all aspects. Food. Exercise. Gratitude. Love. Everything. I love watching TV. Curling up in my bed. Reading. Coloring. I love to sing. I love dancing. I’m drippy with sarcasm. My facial expressions give everything away. No secrets. I hate laundry. I cry too much, love too hard. I’m not perfect. But this is me. So very me. I own it.
