Family CutOut 1 - scrapping with Liz( I think this was a former freebie)
A background story: my sister lives abroad for more than 30 years and there were about 3 times she came to visit us by surprise...I was thinking about this and decided to do my interview with her.
my journaling in Portuguese is 264 words. In English is 289.
Do you remember when you were in Brazil on surprise visits?
Paty: it's true! yes I did it! I think it was in 2010, right?
Fe: I didn't remember the dates, I went looking for old emails and remembered that in 2011 you came too, by surprise.
Did mom know about these visits?
P: in 2011 she didn't know. I wanted to make the surprise because mom was sad, the illness was already starting, and I wanted to cheer her up. But Solange knew, she would always pick me up at the airport!
F: I really didn't remember this time in 2011, it was with our emails and our conversation that I remembered! This time I knew before you came here, at first you tried to fool me, but then I needed to know to fix things for your arrival ... only I think I told mom and asked her to pretend she didn't know ... I was afraid she would faint ! But I'm not sure about that either ...
But you came more often by surprise, remember that?
P: Yes !! I really like doing surprises, too bad we can't do it now! (because of the pandemic). I think I went in 2012 too, and before that, when you were at home recovering from the accident. But I don't remember if mom knew about this, or Finha ... someone did!
F: Yes! in 2012, mom was very ill, and when you arrived she got better, she was discharged from the hospital and went home ... this time we all knew you were coming to Brazil, only mom didn't!
P: I arrived at the hospital and she was looking at me, half-believing ...
F: it's true !! Hey, you can't cry !!
P: miss you all so much ...
