Journaling reads: When I was a little girl, my family and I would travel from Pennsylvania all the way to Long Beach Island, New Jersey. The ride took forever but it was worth it because the beach was always my favorite place to be. I am so lucky that I now live only 30 minutes from the beach. The kids and I can drive down on any given day to play in the waves and sand. The beach is just as much their happy place as it is mine.
