Karen, this is a great New Years AJ page. I love all the goodies you added to this with the gesso and paint.. the stitching I love and I know you will succeed in your goals. Believe me quitting smoking is very hard but I know you can do it. I did that 8.5 years ago and I was a pack and a little more a day smoker. I am keeping positive thoughts for you (I am in your corner!!) Also congrats on your daughter's upcoming wedding. Here is to a wonderful 2023!
@KarenK lol re too many goals...just keep celery around when you put down the cigs.. the celery is 0 calories. I wish I had thought of celery at that time! Hugs and fingers crossed for you!
You know, the only time I was able to quit smoking, no problems at all, was when I got pregnant with my daughter. The day I knew I was pregnant, I smoked the last cigarette and that was it until she was 2 & half...then lots of things came together, life got problematic, started again.... since then, I have tried so many times I lost count..... last time I was good at lower drastically the amount I was smoking..... anyway, hope you get to have the strength and do it!!! the diet, I found a way to remain healthy without denying much.... just lower amounts, have a system of not missing meals.... you will be great, I am sure!!!!!!! love the page!!!!!
Thank you so much for playing with us!!!
