Journaling says:
The County Assessor seems to be making rounds through our town about every 6 months of so. I don't remember her name, but I could likely find her card in my office somewhere. No one is really that excited to see the tax assessor, but for some reason this lady is so Excited to see me when she stops by. She greets the dogs, giving each their own individual attention and She will stop and visit, tell me about her dogs and goats, tell me about the economy etc. Is it me that needs the human connection since I work remote or is it her that needs to see a friendly face? Regardless, I hope she leaves the conversation smiling like I do.
