2022 has been a year of serious health issues for me and being able to watch my favorite, defender Josh Williams, play soccer for the home-town Columbus Crew has been something that helped me through this tough time. On 10/1/22, after the “Fan Appreciation Day” game, I was one of a select group of season ticket holders invited to meet with the team on the pitch. We were also presented a surprise gift. Someone (my sister?) had told organizers about my situation and that Josh has been my favorite player for years. Imagine my surprise and joy when he came up to me and presented me with his #3 jersey!
