I can't believe MOC is over!
My journaling explains how I connect with myself -
I have a very busy and stressful job, so when I am not busy making things, I like to just sit and be. Since we fancied up the lanai, I have a new lounge chair and my fave way to just reconnect with myself is to sit out there on my chair. I don’t read or look at my phone, I just loaf in my chair, drinking a glass of wine and looking at our garden or the wildlife. Being outside always makes me feel more me. I also like to walk to our local lake and just sit and watch all the birds. At the start of 2023 I really struggled with my mental health and I realised that I don’t stop and ‘smell the roses’ enough. A big part of improving my mental health was for me to focus on me and not race around doing all the things. I used to feel guilty for just sitting, but now I embrace it and I feel much better and happier now.
