The quality on this one is REALLY bad compared to what it was before saving for web. But! Here's my All in a Row challenge layout.
To clarify, the significance of the paper and the column. The left side is empty, what the pain leaves me with, however, I CHOOSE to look FORWARD (right) and filled it with color and positivity when I can.
@Rikki Thank you very much, ma'am. It's a page I've been wanting to scrap for therapy for awhile.. there's still some untouched things left behind, but the challenge stated only a column so I'm trying to be good.
Your layout is beautifully done, but I'm so sorry for your pain. I've just begun dealing with a chronic pain problem, but compared to your trial, mine is nothing. You are brave in your pain and in your scrapping of it. I hope wellness is on the horizon for you.
@Nightshadow If you ever need a shoulder to lean on, or just a random hug, I am here. Chronic pain is not fun and we can let it destroy us. Just keep remembering that you are a beautiful soul and keep breathing. My main motto: "We are all of us lying in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." please remember this and my "math" equation. 1 Negative = 2 Positive. Every time you think of something that is wrong because you're hurting, think of 2 wonderful things. Like, the sky isn't an ugly neon orange, or "purple still tastes like sparkles." ANYTHING you can come up with that is good, use it! You're not alone and I am rooting for you!!
@NancyP I love it when you stalk me! And thank you for the sweet words! Today is not a good day so I'm trying to stay here where you girls make everything better. Thank you for being a smile in my day!
Serena this sounds....awful! Thanking my lucky stars this morning that my chronic pain is well managed with daily ibuprofen and that I've never found myself in such a terrifying predicament.
Your page is amazing though. I even love the scribble on the picture as I'm sure it conveys the frustration you feel daily. Beautiful page. <3
@Lena Gardner Thank you SO much for noticing the little things! I'm very symbolic in most of my pages, this was is FULL of symbolism in every little thing I put on here. I wanted to document this, not as a way of.... whining? but as a way to explain what I'm going through and for my scrap book so my kids know. It's also a very victorious layout, believe it or not. This is my triumph. Ten years and I'm still around and scrapping. So in a way while it's a sad layout, it's also a very much a battle cry and a marker of success. ^.^
