Around the 4th day that Pearl got home, she already chose Mauro as her official owner...it's a cute animal instinct thing, but I still think it's something a little supernatural. She follows him around the house, cries when he leaves, lies at the bedroom door crying and I have to open it to show her that he's not in there...he's the love of her life, I'm just her roommate!! And she's been with us for just over 10 days... there's no explanation, just love!
