For this special Slow Scrap Challenge I made this layout about my recent update of my about to expire Apple credit card. It's a stark contrast to what happened after I tried to destroy my prior card. My first purchase with my new card was a new shredder. This time I followed the advice that came with my new card.
Oops! Yup it sure seemed like it was a learning experience! Glad your new card is here and you followed the advice for the expired one! Love how you scrapped this with the pockets and the great title work! Great photos and glad you got to document this. Thank you for playing along with our challenge!
@cfile, thank you. So glad I remembered this lesson when my replacement card arrived last week. We laughed about my experience several years ago. When I read Esther's post, I thought briefly about something my grandson did after his recent ankle surgery but then realized that featuring my mistake was a better choice!
@StefanieS, thank you. Glad to hear that my Apple-focused experience translated into something you enjoyed. Do remember that if you ever get a new credit card with a "mail back" for secure disposal packaging that it's a bad choice to think you have a better way.
@HeatherB, thank you. It was relatively quick to have a new shredder delivered even though throwing the shredder in the trash with my mauled but not destroyed card stuck in it was a bit scary...
