The day when everything has fallen apart and you don’t know how to go forward on your own? I’m writing this to you just a couple of months after Len finally admitted that he wants out. Out of the house, out of our marriage and out of our family life.
You need to be strong. You can be strong. Really, you can. You’ve been coping on your own emotionally for years. He is doing this just for himself, but look at it as being the next logical step for you - for you to become free to find your own future happiness. Sit down and really think about what is important. Try to let go of the anger and bitterness. If you can’t do that, at least continue to keep it to yourself and not dish all the dirt to the kids (remember how it has felt to hear your own mum bad mouth your dad?)
