Hi Everyone...I always like to do a challenge that has a few photos for inspiration...It opens up for a more open type of inspiration...Especially, in this case,to me...these photos seem so to have an airy feeling...breezy and filled with movement...They also remind me of the upcoming spring weather...But, it is still cold where I live,we had snow flurries , for 2 days in a row and some hail and pouring down rain and cold, cold , winds...UGH!...Where is my Spring?...It still feels like fall/winter here...So over it...Waiting for the sun to shine! and to see those beautiful spring flowers...but I digress...LOL...
*As Inspiration : for this challenge : I chose a little something : from all 4 photo inspiration shown : It was all about the colors I see : Blue/Green/Yellow/Creamy Beige in those swirly clouds...I love using multiple colors in a layout color scheme...To me,that also dictates and goes back to the main theme of my layout and that feeling of movement that I eluded to earlier...My layout is called the "Cycle Of Life" so again more themes about movement, time and change...Like the new season to come, as I wait patiently for this to happen...but the signs are there...The days are getting longer slowly, the nights are not as dark and the sunset sets later too...The collection I used for this layout , is called "In Transit" , so again all about movement, change and perhaps , the passage of time. There are some more personal , items included in my layout...If you didn't know anything about my own personal life and/or story, you may not even know or notice...like the number "53"...my Sweet Mom died many years ago now and she was 53 when she passed away...I have outlived her...and a lot of you know about my sweet husband passing away too from terminal cancer, after us spending almost 30 years together...and so the number "9" being the day he passed away , June 9th 2023...and the number "6" being , the sixth month, he also passed away...Green is my Mom's favorite color , so green is evident here...plus, the stamps have the word "Canada" on them and there is a beaver on those stamps , representing , being Canadian and living in Canada...Blue was my Sweet Ray's favorite color , so blue is in there...both colors representing change and the vintage clock representing the same idea, vintage as opposed to a new clock...I know you get where I am going with this thinking...Also the #3 is my favorite number and red is my favorite color...The color "yellow" also represents brighter days to come and more positive "light" to be let in...With feelings of nostalgia tied in to this vintage theme and all the circles representing the way life always moves forward and continues to do so,even when we don't see it or want it to...Sometimes, we wish we could turn back time, but we can't do that...So we try to make peace with all of our precious memories ...so onward and forward we will endeaver to go and move forward with intent..."Still Standing" ...and continuing, to contribute to all of those "Circle" of life moments to come and all of those upcoming times ahead...in our future....
