This is an ATC. JOURNALING: In April, 1964, the Ford Motor Company came out with a new car which would set the automotive world on fire. The Ford Mustang. Our family went to the nearby dealer to see this new creation and took a test drive. I can still remember it was a burgundy convertible with white seats. We ordered a red hardtop with red interior. My parents were buying it as a high school graduation gift for my twin sister and me. However, neither one of us considered the car "ours." It was always MINE. After all, she got a trip to NYC to see Richard Burton in "Hamlet." So, the car was mine. It didn't come until June, but that was perfect for our graduation. Ironically, I didn't have a driver's license at the time, so it was my sister who got to drive the car. And it created quite a stir. People would point at the car as we drove by. Some would wave. It was a fun summer! CREDITS: KIT: Art Smart by Dawn Inskip; FONT: Comic Sans
