oh my goodness! lol, at your journaling. she does look like she is enjoying them here ... my nephew has a pig as a pet (kinda crazy!) but they can be so cute. i want to go play on the farm with you all! loved seeing all your pages about this event. and the bubble water colors here are just the perfect touch!

Thanks, @jenn mccabe ! Ruth's life goal is to have a no-kill animal farm. She's a city kid, but has been stuck on this for at least 3 years. It was a combination of playing Mine Craft and watching the BBC historic farms series. This is the first time she's ever been to a working farm before, and was over the moon happy. Although, she already knew the goats. The guys who own the farm are former teacher colleagues of my Dad's. One of them taught agriculture at the high school, and the goats used to live at the school. Before my Dad retired, he would take Ruth in to visit the miniature goats and chickens. (They won't let pigs into the city as pets yet.)

@Juliestcyr ... oh Ruth and my daughter Emma need to get together ... she's been an animal advocate for as long as I can remember - and now won't eat meat, eggs, fish. seafood ... and shops vegan shoes, clothes and even beauty products. It sounds like an amazing experience for her and I hope she gets to go back many times!
