IF WALLS COULD TALK

Description:
IF WALLS COULD TALK

For the 2017 Month of Challenges (MOC) at The Lilypad. The paper is from Dawn Inskip (M3Jan17); the pagemask is from Just Jaimee (M3PageMasks); the border is from Sissy Sparrows (M3Feb15). The font is Pea Stitchasaurus Rex. The photo and the poem are mine:

Walls crack
like lightning
bolts. Floor-
boards groan,

Windows insist

White! Light!
Snow-melt
drips, drips,

from eves.
Paintings
proclaim

blue, green,

gold; Alaska,
New Mexico,
Pennsylvania.
Listen, wings:

parakeets,
iron angels,

carved wood
goddesses.

Thailand, Bali.

New Guineau.

Glass plates
whisper

Czechoslovakia.
A flowered bowl
blooms China.
Beads sing Africa!

That sheepskin
murmers: home,

here, mountain,
Montana.
