Journaling: If the kitchen walls could speak, they would say:
We are four solid walls around a very big kitchen. Most parts of us are covered by cabinets filled up to the top with kitchen gadgets as our owner is a passionate cook. We surround the first room people use to enter when coming through the front door. We surround a big table that attracts every guest. People tend to stay in the kitchen, chatting around that table instead of sitting in the living room. Over the years we saw two individuals founding a couple and later a family. We saw two little girls growing up, learning to eat, to speak and to walk. We watched the family playing board games, meeting friends, reading bedtime stories, cooking, baking, crafting and eating. We witnessed hundreds of hours of homework. We saw people laugh and cry. We heard lots of personal stories - positive and negative - from family members, neigbours and friends. We could tell many interesting stories, but as the owners always say: What is said between these walls, remains between these walls.
