I am incredibly honored that you shared this bit about yourself in the Monthly Muse forum. I understand how this sharing makes you vulnerable - especially as you say to people thinking you are crazy which may in turn invite unwelcome commentary.
I don't think you are crazy. I felt like the last house I rented had a presence. So much so that I named the presence Rose and called the house The Rose house. Even told my mom about it....I think this house might be haunted. The ghosts name is Rose. Some time latter in phone conversation my mom asked if I had any more visits from the ghost...and I could honestly answer that I had not. The presence faded away. Since the previous home's owner had recently passed away, I can't help but wonder if bits of her aura and essence was still in the house, and thats what I initially felt. Her name was not Rose though. So I have no idea why there was a strong draw to Rose (other than the predominate colors of the decor and flower wallpaper).
As a work of art, I really like what you created. I like the large photo format and how you used graphic images to convey "seeing." I am intrigued by the blended flowers. To me they add a bit of merriment that is in opposition to the eye which seems really, really sad. Overall, although dark and full of mystique, what you created does not feel evil or ominous. Just a touch sad. And beautifully crafted by you!
WOW, Eva!! I absolutely love your layout. The way you blended the background gives the whole page a ghostly, mysterious vibe. And those stacked elements at the top? Such a perfect touch! Amazing work!
