I said She heard

"Mom, what are we having for dinner?" asks my daughter. I give my answer. Ten minutes later "Mom, what are we having for dinner?" asks my daughter. And so it goes with so many conversations. She'll say okay to setting the table and then when she doesn't do it claim that I didn't get her attention before asking her to do it. Ummm... hello - you did answer me back child!
