**I miss winter. True winter. Like when I was young and we lived on the Southern Highlands. Or like when we lived in southern NSW. I miss a roaring fire and hot drinks to keep your hands warm. I even miss wearing lots of clothes. Layer upon layer for warmth. Snuggled up on the couch with blankets. I even miss that awful chill when you get out of the shower first thing in the morning. I want to see snow on the mountains in the distance. I want to need a coat on Anzac Day and a scarf at football games. Oh dear winter I miss you so.**
