when we go to the coast, we can guarantee that there will be at least
one rainy day while we are there. that's just what happens at the oregon coast.
i'm not usually a rain-loving person, but if it's raining at the coast,
it doesn't bother me in the slightest. i actually prefer it. there's just
something about a coastal rain that is soothing and comforting to me.
maybe that's weird, but i don't care.
this photo was taken from the balcony outside our room of the beach house we
rented on logan road in lincoln city our first morning there. you can see that
the road is all wet, there are rain clouds in the sky, but just look at that
view of the ocean in the background! simply stunning.
i can not wait until we go back for another visit. rain or shine, it will be
absolutely perfect.
