Blue is my favourite colour. It always has been ever since I can remember. But when I actually sat down to think about why, it surprised me to discover that I see myeslf, my personality and my emotions in shades of blue. When I am happy, it isn't a bright, bubbly yellow kind of happy. It is more subtle...a sky blue version of happy. When I get angry it is a stormy, kind of anger, building up and getting darker until it all gushes out in a flood of blue tears. Sadness, anger, understanding, and hope all gushing out in shades of blue. Even my excitement is blue, royal blue. It is a subdued excitement that is contained within...rather than gushing out in purples and pinks. But usually I am Columbia Blue. Calm, patient, as neutral as blue can be. I am blue.
