Journaling: The last week of July Victor along with his best friend Julian spent his days working on math, language arts, engineering and robotics. On Friday we all gathered at Rogers Park for pizza and for the kids to show off their projects to each other and their parents. Students had been broken into pairs during at the beginning of the week to build bridges, robotic hands, and catapults. Each team had to design their own then compete with it. They also showed off their poetry skills by reading one of the poems that they wrote during the week. It was so much fun to see all of the different designs that the kids came up for the catapults and the bridges as well as to hear the different styles of poetry as each student picked what they thought was their best piece. This was a fun week to get the mind ready to head back to school in just a few weeks.
Your pages about the STEAM camp have me all a twitter in happy, I love to see a mind get as much attention as a muscle...and you have highlighted the week with such pride!
I love that you made a double page layout - it looks so great. Your journaling is wonderful and really adds to your photos. The whole page tells such a great story. It sounds like such an interesting and fun week of camp! Thanks for participating in the challenge!
