"Never in my wildest dreams did I expect what would happen that Saturday afternoon in September 2006. We had put our name on the Interest List for a new residential development right across the road from where we were renting a townhome. We received a phone call asking if we were still interested. We went to the Sales Office to have a look at the plans. You immediately picked out a site you loved. I was the more cautious of the two of us, but it was hard not to share your enthusiasm when you excitedly pointed out a site you thought would be perfect for us. It turns out that you, my husband, have extremely good judgement! You chose the perfect site for our new home. The photo on the left was taken the following day when we went to the site for a sneak peek and to admire the view. We signed the Deed of Sale in September 2006. Our dream was becoming a reality. We made weekly site visits as a family to watch our home being built. Rainy days were the best because there was mud for J to play in! In February 2007 we received the keys to our new home. I cannot even begin to describe the elation I felt when we walked through the front door. The view from my kitchen window is a daily reminder that God is good and that I have so much to be thankful for. When I come home, it just feels right. This is where I belong. I am Home. It is now September 2012. Six years have passed since we went to the Sales Office. I love this house. I am so happy living in it and watching our son grow up. It took me a long time, but I finally figured out that no matter what country we are living in, Home is anywhere where we are together as a family."
