Fantastic page. Firstly I love the layering of the map papers. I'll have to remember to try this one time. Secondly I love the large heart and whimsical elements all telling your story. Brilliant page!

Amazing! While the shape of the US is there, and the outline of the states is there, your map is of foreign lands. Subtle, but genius!

awesome page and thank your husband (?) or Thank You for your service to our great country. Great title work! I love the arrows to each of the different forts.. surprised no Ft. Hood :) ... Love your documenting and this is truly awesome!

I LOVE this layout! I like how you have all the arrows showing all the places you have been!
My daughter is expecting now..... I'm pretty sure she goes to Fort Carson for her appointments and will give birth there.... I will have to ask her again. Are you enjoying Colorado Springs?

This is pure awesomeness. I love the map and the little arrows pointing to places.

@Sokee I'm sorry she'll have to give birth at Evans. When my son was in the hospital we were given a choice to go on post or go in town. We decided in town because we heard really horrible things about Evans. Co Sp is okay. The people here are different than the East Coast. There's a lot of pettiness on post, so I don't interact with a lot of them. My neighbors are nice, even if they barely come out of their homes! :D There are a LOT of things to see and do here to keep you occupied. I really enjoy that aspect. I don't like being in MST because everyone else I know is in EST so it makes communicating with them a little tricky. The altitude was hard to adjust. My oldest was sick the longest time with headaches and what not. It was almost 10 months later that her body finally adjusted. It's quite dry here. So if I get a slice of bread out, leave it out for an hour, it's hard as a rock when I come back. So baking is kind of tricky here as well. Overall, we are adjusting and making the best of the area. The mountains are beautiful, which I can see from my office window. It's always sunny here. It's nice. But any place is what you make it. If you were to ask my middle, she's miserable. My oldest, she's in love with it here! Sorry for the long answer. Overall, yes. Co Sp is a nice place to visit and call home for a few years. I highly doubt we'll retire on this side of the Springs like my husband anticipated. Maybe more on the mountain and away from the city. But for now, this place is just perfect for our family! <3
