Amy Winehouse lived near us, and used to come to a pub in the area of the Camden Markets, so you can find lots of street art dedicated to her. Camden Town wasn't as touristic and hype when I arrived 30 something years ago, but already had the magic that still is preserved in some areas. The London Borough of Camden has different neighborhoods, we lived in the South part in the 90s, a step away from Kings Cross/St Pancras (Platform 93/4!) & we saw the new the British Library been built from our top floor windows, now have been in the north part since 2001. We are really blessed living in such an amazing neighborhood.

I've never had the joy of visiting England, much less London. As a teenager, maybe because of Depeche Mode and the new wave punk vibe coming out of London, I always dreamed of traveling to London, especially. Thus, I greatly enjoy reading about your history of where you live. My fascination with London still exists...maybe one day!
