This is fabulous! I loved reading the journaling from Carter's blanket's point of view, this is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for with this challenge and you executed it perfectly! Sweet photos and I liked your title.
I love this mainly because my son also has a blanket that is crocheted. He calls it "Blue Blanket" and he has had it since he was born. It was a baby shower gift but my son is now 14! He still sleeps with this blanket and "hides" it in the closet when people come over. LOL Its rather funny to watch. I am still wondering if he will sneak it off to college with him. I tried to take it away from him years ago and put it up. I actually had it put away fora couple weeks when he grandmother and my hubby said I should not have taken it from him and gave it back to him. Uggghhh..
Very lucky little guy to have so many special blankies! My grands who are 8 and 11 have both had favorites blankie's that they held on to for years. The 8 yr. old still takes one that looks more like a piece of swiss cheese now to bed with him every nigh!
